The National Honor Society (NHS) is the nation's premier organizations established to recognize outstanding high school and middle level students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serve to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character. Fellowship of Christian Athletes
The Fellowship of Christian Athletes is touching millions of lives... one heart at a time. Since 1954, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes has been challenging coaches and athletes on the professional, college, high school, junior high and youth levels to use the powerful medium of athletics to impact the world for Jesus Christ. FCA is the largest Christian sports organization in America. FCA focuses on serving local communities by equipping, empowering and encouraging people to make a difference for Christ. Key Club
Key Club is the oldest and largest service program for high school students. What makes Key Club so successful is the fact that it is a student-led organization that teaches leadership through serving others. Junior Civitan
Junior Civitan is a community service organization for students. Junior Civitan members seek to meet the needs of our world and promote progress in a world of change. You can be a part of your local Junior Civitan club's commitment to making a difference.
Student Advisory
Student Advisory Committee is comprised of a group of students that meet several times a year to discuss relevant issues. These students have the opportunity to meet with administration and give input to improve student life.
Student Council
Student Council officers are elected from the student body at large. In addition to the required recommendation forms, each candidate must be approved by the administration. The purpose of Student Council is to develop attitudes and practice of good citizenship, to promote student life centered on Jesus Christ, to promote and develop school spirit, to develop positive relationships between faculty/staff and students, to provide for promotion of school activities in support of school goals, to provide opportunities for the development of leadership skills.
Class Officer
Class officers are elected by their peer to provide leadership and service. Class officers work with the administration to plan, organize and implement student activities.
Brain Bowl
Brain Bowl is an academic trivia competition pitting teams of four against one another. Players use a buzzer system to ring in and answer questions in four main subject areas: math, natural science, social science, and humanities.
Science Club
The NFC Science Club is a fun way for students to get a better understanding of the science world through exciting experiments and various events. Students in the science club will have the opportunity to be a part of their community through service projects and will receive supplementary teaching at institutions like FSU, for Saturday Morning Physics. Students also participate in on-campus activities, as well as taking an end of the year trip.
Math Club
The NFCS math club participates in math competition throughout the year. They also engage in community service activities.
