Middle School
North Florida Christian School provides a structured program of excellence for the Middle School student in grades 6-8. Qualified and committed teachers guide students through this challenging period in life with an academic program of excellence and many extracurricular activities all from a perspective of a biblical world-view. Responsibility, good study habits, and appropriate social behavior are emphasized in the classroom and in all activities.
Boys and girls discover their own potential and develop a love of learning as well as self-discipline as they are carefully guided by teachers, coaches, and school leaders who know them not just as students, but as individuals. As a result, students leave NFC Middle School equipped and prepared for success in the High School curriculum.
Classes include Bible, English, math, science, history, study skills and physical education along with electives in the arts, computer classes, and Spanish. Students may begin earning credit level courses from the High School in eighth grade.
The faculty and staff are committed to a team concept working together with the middle school student to provide a curriculum and programs that are academically rigorous and developmentally appropriate. Students may apply for admission into the National Junior Honor Society and participate in their age level FHSAA athletic programs at NFC.
