North Florida Christian School values the importance of accreditation and is accredited by several accrediting bodies, including:
How do I begin the application process to NFC?
The application process starts by reaching out to our Admissions Office, either by phone at 850-386-6327 ext. 195, or via email.
Will my student need to take an entrance exam?
Students entering grades 1-12 may be given an assessment as part of the admissions process. Our admissions committee will determine if an assessment is needed for your student; if so, the assessment will be set up through our Admissions Office.
On what is the admission decision based?
Admission decisions are based upon a student's previous school records, teacher recommendations, results of standardized achievement test scores, and if necessary, an assessment. We look at the whole student, both evaluating their readiness and ability to succeed academically in our challenging curriculum, and if North Florida Christian's structured environment is a good fit for that student.
How long will the admissions process take?
As soon as we receive all the necessary documentation for your student, it will be sent to our admissions committee for review. It traditionally takes 1-2 weeks for review, but can take longer depending on the time of year and number of applications to review. Our Admissions Office will contact you with updates; if your student is accepted, you will then receive information from our Admissions Office as to how to complete the online application.

Can my family take a tour of North Florida Christian?
Yes! We encourage you to come visit our campus for a personalized tour. You are welcomed and encouraged to bring your student with you during the tour. Tours can be scheduled by contacting our Admissions Office.
FINANCIAL FAQs
What fees do I have to pay in order to apply?
There is a $250 non-refundable fee that is to be paid at the time of application for grades 3K-12. There is no enrollment fee for our half-day VPK program. Depending on the time of year that you apply, you may also be required to make a tuition payment.
What does the admissions fee cover?
The $250 admissions fee is applied to the cost of establishing and registering a student in our school, which includes obtaining student records and preparing enrollment materials for the upcoming year.
How much are the annual tuition and fees?

Are payment plans available?
We have several payment plans available to families that include a 12-month payment plan and a 10-month payment plan. The 12-month payment plan begins on June 1 and requires that a credit card be on file in our Business Office. The 10-month payment plan begins in August. Please note that if you enroll your student after the school year begins, you will automatically be placed on the 10-month payment plan. What are the school hours?
The school day begins at 8:05am and ends at 2:55pm.
Is there before school care and after school care?
Yes! Before school care is available for students in 3K through 5th grade. Supervision starts for these students at 7am. After school care is available from 3:30pm-6pm for students in grades 3K-8th grade. More details, including costs and location for care, are provided during a campus tour or after the student has applied.
Does North Florida Christian School have a dress code?
Preschool students do not have a dress code, but we do encourage students to come to school each day dressed in clothing that they can manipulate during restroom time. Students in the preschool need to provide an extra set of seasonally appropriate clothing to the teacher to have in the classroom.
Students in kindergarten through fifth grade wear uniforms. The uniform requirements can be obtained in the Elementary Office. We also have a uniform closet on campus where families can purchase gently used uniform pieces. More information on uniforms for these grades will be emailed to parents after their student has been admitted.
Middle school and high school students have a dress code which is appropriate for the age of the students. The dress code guidelines can be obtained in the Middle School/High School Office or found in the Parent-Student handbook, which families receive during New Student Orientation. More information on the dress code for these grades will be emailed to parents after their student has been admitted.
Where do the students eat?
Students in kindergarten and up eat in our Eagle Café while the preschool students eat in their own Little Eagle Café. Any student can purchase lunch in the cafeteria, or bring lunch from home. Parents have the option to load money onto their student's lunch account on ParentWeb, which allows you to not be concerned with sending money each day. More lunch details and monthly lunch menus can be found on our Eagle Cafe website.
What extracurricular activities are available?
There are a wide range of extracurricular programs available for students, including visual arts, performing arts, athletic programs, leadership opportunities, and student body officer positions.
Are there fine arts programs at North Florida Christian?
Our fine arts department provides an outstanding education in the visual and performing arts with an emphasis on the Christian worldview of the arts. The faculty and staff have created a supportive environment in which students can grow in the fields of visual arts, theater, and music. Our students regularly compete in district and state level art competitions and festivals.
What kinds of athletic programs exist at North Florida Christian?
Students are eligible to participate in athletics beginning in sixth grade. North Florida Christian has a solid reputation in the state of Florida for its athletic competition; our athletic teams have won several state, regional and district awards. We are a competitive class 2A school, a member of the Florida High School Activities Association, and offer twelve different sports for boys and girls. Most sports offer competition levels at middle school, junior varsity, and varsity.
What about technology?
All students from preschool through grade 12 take advantage of state-of-the-art computer labs and classes. All of our classrooms are equipped with smart boards, and each elementary school classroom is also equipped with a document camera.
Once a student has been admitted to North Florida Christian, they are entered into our RenWeb system. Using RenWeb, our parents have access to view their student's lesson plans, grades, homework, behavior and attendance records, and more. Information on how to set up your RenWeb account is emailed to parents after their child has been admitted.
Does the school offer extra help?
Help classes are offered for students in grades 1-12 who might need additional help. The help class schedule is emailed to parents at the beginning of the semester. The help class schedule for grades 6-12 is also available in the Student Handbook. Additional help class opportunities can be scheduled individually with a teacher should they be needed.
Is North Florida Christian accredited?
